Cleaning with Baking Soda

How many times should I change my baking soda in the refrigerator? The answer is once a month to neutralize odors.
Here are a few ways to use baking soda:
freshen your mouth, use as a facial scrub, insect bites, polish silver and clean brushes and combs. For cleaning, try Arm & Hammer Baking Super Washing Soda as a laundry booster. I use it to wash my cleaning rags instead of bleach.

Thanks for the tips. I use baking soda in my fridge to neutralize odors. I also use baking soda solution to wipe certain areas in the home. It's a natural deodorizer and I do not have to worry about it leaving any harmful residue. Plus, it does not cost a lot of money when compared to brand name cleaners, many of which contain more harmful active ingredients. I do not change the box in the fridge as often as I should and will have to remember to do that. Once a month really is good for keeping the fridge smelling fresh.

Thank you for your comment. You know that box of Arm & Hammer baking soda in the refrigerator? Don’t throw it out! Use it to scrub your sink, pots and pans or bathtub. I just used the Arm and Hammer the other day for scrubbing a ceramic dish that stayed too long in the oven.
